Gravity In Motion Debuts at Dany Holdstein Two Worlds "HUB" in Wheatley Plaza

Come experience the Latest in Fitness and Athletic Training with World Class Trainers

On Monday Nov 10th, Gravity In Motion officially opens their doors at Two Worlds studios - home of the HUB fitness concept, in Wheatley Plaza, Greenvale NY. Gravity In Motion is your chance to learn proper, precise, purposeful movement patterns in a state of the art functional, open turf training facility. With a focus on performance, balance and strength training combined with athletic movement and agility exercises, Gravity In Motion is designed to achieve maximum results for the athlete in all of us.

Gravity In Motion is the brainchild of former American Natural Bodybuilding’s Mr. Jr. USA Dave Concannon, a professional Fitness & Sports Performance Coach who has coached athletes at all levels including spending time as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for two time Heavyweight Champion of the World, Shannon Briggs.

This is “working out with a purpose - not dealing with a circus of random exercises” as Dave likes to say.

In celebration of their Grand Opening, Gravity In Motion is offering sessions at NO CHARGE for two days. On November 10th, adult classes are from 6am - 12pm and from 7-8pm, youth classes from 12pm - 7pm. On Nov 11th, adult classes are from 8:45pm - 11:30pm and youth classes from 3:15 - 8pm.

In addition to being a owner/operator at Gravity In Motion and also the Director of Fitness at Two Worlds Fitness, Dave holds a B.S .in Phys Ed / Exercise Science, Certified -American College of Sports Medicine - Exercise Physiologist, Certified - IMG Academy -Ignite 360 Sports Performance Specialist, Certified -IYCA - Youth Speed and Agility Coach, Certified-Functional Movement Screen - level -1, Certified TRX- Group Suspension Training. He is also someone with an eye for talent as evidenced in the impressive staff he has put together for the launch of this exciting new venture.

Trainer Amanda Ferranti is the director and founder of Ferranti Empowerment where she works diligently as a mental skills consultant for youth athletes, coaches, and teams. Amanda has an M.A. in Sport and Exercise Psychology and a B.A. in Psychology from Princeton University. She has achieved a great deal of athletic success as a soccer player, performing at the Premier youth level for HBC Fury, the elite Division 1 level for Princeton and currently at the semi-professional level. Amanda also has a diverse background competing in multiple sports, including swim, basketball, lacrosse, and dance. An advocate of mental skills training from personal experiences, Amanda understands the importance of mental toughness and uses her innovation and unique knowledge-base specifically for youth populations. Additionally, she is a member of the Association of Applied Sport Psychology and contributes to the growing literature on mental skills training and performance enhancement

Trainer Javier Santin is an International Fitness Presenter and Educator with over 15 years of experience in Personal Training, Sales, Communication, Fitness Management and Marketing, as well as a Master Instructor for the Spinning® program. Originally from Madrid, Spain, I recently relocated to New York City. I hold a number of certifications in health and fitness such as ACE, AFAA and NASM. My passion is helping others achieve their goals, no matter if they are exercise newbies, fitness enthusiasts or new fitness instructors both. I also have a background in competitive Martial Arts such as Chinese Wu-Shu and Kick-Boxing and I am currently a recreational triathlete.

Trainer Mike Majikas is the owner and founder of Athletes Anonymous, Inc. He received his bachelors in Health and Exercise Science from Gettysburg College and has a background in Strength & Conditioning, Personal Training, Physical Therapy and Yoga. His interest in activities such as basketball, snowboarding, weight training and yoga opened new doors to exploring the human body and understanding the science of movement. Mike has trained athletes as young as 7-8 year old, ran high school pre-season football camps, conducted off-season training programs for college hockey and baseball teams, as well as helping the average person recover from injury or surgery to get back to life as they once knew it.

Trainer Rich Krol has over 23 years of experience in the fitness field. His roots were laid in natural bodybuilding from the age of 16 to present time. Rich has been a certified personal trainer since 1991 having earned a B.S while majoring in Adult Fitness at SUNY Cortland. He is a certified Exercise Physiologist from the prestigious American College of Sports Medicine as well as IMG Academy certified Ignite 360 Sports Performance Specialist, Certified TRX Group, Team Blocks and RIP Training. In addition, he has earned his pro card with the World Natural Bodybuilding Federation where he still competes today. This toolbox arsenal allows Rich to focus on improving a client’s body composition, movement, strength, flexibility and eating habits to help them achieve a health lifestyle. His client base ranges from 8 - 80 including athletes and non athletes

Either way, you are also sure to sculpt, lengthen and tone with their widely popular POUND classes, Barre classes, TRX classes and Cardio Core classes. Truly something for every fitness buff!
