PORT WASHINGTON, NY — A former Port Washington fire chief has been honored for his decades of dedicated service to the department's drill team.
Members of the Port Washington Fire Department's Road Runners Drill Team recognized former Chief John "Bubba" Salerno with a plaque for his 50-plus years of contributions to the Road Runners and Rowdys, as well as the Squirts and junior Road Runners.
