Steve Sgambati has been performing in Beatles Tribute shows throughout the country and abroad since 1994. His band, The Remnants, became world acclaimed performers as one of the bands chosen to represent America at International Beatles Week in 1999, an event that drew 350,000 people to the city of Liverpool. They drew rave reviews at their Cavern Club debut and at The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, and they were invited to return in 2000 for encore performances. Steve has been paying tribute to John Lennon for over twenty years. During that time, he has teamed up with numerous Beatles acts, including original cast members of Beatlemania, and has also had the honor of working with many rock and roll greats, including Al Jardine of The Beach Boys, Wilson Phillips, Gerry Marsden of Gerry and the Pacemakers, Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, (Paul McCartney drummer) and Steve Holley. He has been backed onstage by former John Lennon bandmates Adam Ippolito and Gary Van Scyoc of the Plastic Ono Elephant’s Memory Band. For Sunday’s performance at the Sousa bandshell, Steve and his group will perform a selection of Lennon’s Beatles compositions, along with songs from John’s incredible solo career,
