Imani Winds Quintet to Perform Two Concerts at Sands Point Preserve

Interactive Family Concert in Castle Gould's Great Hall and Evening Dinner Concert in Hempstead House

They’ve played Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. They’ve toured the nation and the globe. And now they are coming to the Sands Point Preserve.

The renowned Imani Winds quintet will brighten up winter with two very special performances: an afternoon family performance, and an evening dinner concert. The Grammy nominated quintet is known for dynamic playing, adventurous programming, and commitment to commissioning new work. The group includes two member composers, and has made a unique place for itself in the classical music world by enriching the traditional wind quintet repertoire and diversifying new music sources.
