Long Island Man Pointed Gun At 6-Year-Old's Head During Candy Drop-Off: Police
Kids left a goody bag full of candy for Halloween on the wrong man's doorstep, police say.

MANHASSET, NY — A Manhasset man was arrested Saturday after Nassau police said he pointed a gun at a 6-year-old boy's head after he and his sister dropped candy off at the incorrect home.
A woman, 42, drove her daughter, two sons and nephew to a home on Rockrest Road, where the daughter was dropping a goody bag off at her friend's house, police said. The daughter, 10, and her 6-year-old brother got out of the car, rang the doorbell and left a goody bag full of candy for Halloween on the porch before returning to the vehicle, police said.
The woman drove down the block when her daughter told her the address may have been incorrect, police said. They returned to the address and the boy, 6, got out of the vehicle to retrieve the goody bag from the porch, police said.
