Road Rage Leads To Gun Pulled, Punches Thrown At Manhasset TGI Friday's: Police
The man followed the other driver into a TGI Friday's and punched him multiple times, police say.
MANHASSET, NY — A New Hyde Park man was arrested on Wednesday afternoon after he was accused of attacking a man in Manhasset during a road rage argument, Nassau police said.
Two drivers were involved in a road rage call around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday near TGI Fridays Restaurant, at 1445 Northern Boulevard, police said. Antonio Condello, 48, was arguing with a 39-year-old man when he stepped out of his vehicle and grabbed a gun from his trunk while yelling at the man, police said. The man, fearing for his safety, went into the TGI Friday's, police said.
Condello followed the man into the restaurant and punched him in the face several times before fleeing, police said. The man who was punched refused medical attention at the TGI Friday's, police said.

Officers found Condello at his home and placed him into custody without incident, police said. Detectives recovered a black firearm under the passenger’s side floor mat of Condello’s vehicle, police said.
Condello was charged with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and third-degree assault.

His arraignment was scheduled for Thursday at First District Court, 99 Main St., Hempstead.
