I have been a resident of Manhasset for over 40 years and was shocked to see that the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce posted an ad reading “November 25th for A Merry Little Manhasset Small Business Saturday” with no mention of Chanukah. It also included colorful Christmas graphics. I was shocked that the Jewish community was totally omitted as though we don’t exist. I see this as nothing short of Anti-Semitic. The ad was very painful, catching me completely off guard. During these difficult times, it would have been wonderful if the Chamber had posted an ad that was inclusive.
