Li and Zheng have two children who will attend Manhasset Secondary School and Shelter Rock Elementary School. Virginia McDermott from the district registration office met with them in late August and made them feel right at home. Li and Zheng wanted to pay the kindness forward, which is what drove them to donate 1,000 boxes of masks. They said they were honored to be part of such a wonderful school district.

The masks will be distributed throughout the district’s buildings to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Manhasset Public Schools is grateful for the donation and welcomes the new family to the district.
