Manhasset Secondary School Hosts Senior Frolic
After the school held its 99th commencement ceremony, seniors enjoyed the Senior Frolic in the gym, which was transformed to represent NYC.
From Manhasset School District: Following the school’s 99th graduation commencement, Manhasset Secondary School’s gymnasium was opened to the public for a brief walkthrough of what the graduating seniors enjoyed later that evening: this year’s installment of the Senior Frolic.
This year, the gymnasium was transformed into scenes straight out of New York City. The Senior Frolic was created to provide graduating seniors with a safe, substance- free environment to celebrate on the night of graduation. For 77 years the guardians and parents have worked together with Manhasset Secondary School to transform the gymnasium into a secret fantasy-themed gala to honor the graduates. There was a DJ, dance floor, games, food, non-alcoholic beverages and much more to entertain the Class of 2019 this year.
