Manhasset Students Named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists

Thirteen students from Manhasset Public Schools were named semifinalists.

Thirteen students from Manhasset Public Schools were announced as semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program on Sept. 9. The program gives academically talented high school seniors scholarship opportunities.
Semifinalists are determined based on how well a student scores on the Preliminary SAT, or PSAT. Out of the 16,000 semifinalists nationwide, 15,000 are expected to advance to the finalist level, where scholarship winners will be selected from.
