Northwell Nursing Home Receives Top Performance Ranking

The Stern Family Center for Rehabilitation has been named a top performing facility by the Health Department for the third straight year.

Northwell Health Stern Family Center for Rehabilitation has been named a Top Performing nursing home by the New York State Department of Health for the third consecutive year.

The facility received the classification again after being evaluated during the New York State Nursing Home Quality Initiative, which takes place annually. The Stern Family Center was graded on performance and the quality of care provided to the residents living there. Stern is one of only five nursing homes on Long Island to have received the highest ranking by the state.

“We are very proud of receiving this prestigious designation from the New York State Department of Health,” said Gerard Kaiser, executive director of skilled nursing facilities for Northwell Health. “This validates the hard work and commitment of our staff and physicians to provide the highest quality of care to the patients at The Stern Family Center for Rehabilitation.”
