The 'Not So Scary Monster Bash' Returns to Port Washington
There will be pony rides, monster slime, games and more for kids ages 0-5.
The Parent Resource Center’s annual Not So Scary Monster Bash returns this year with monster slime, a petting zoo, a photobooth and more.
The event, targeted for kids ages 0-5, kicks off Saturday, Oct. 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Landmark Gym, located at 232 Main St.

- An outdoor petting zoo and pony rides (weather permitting)
- Crafts
- Monster slime
- Games
- A photo booth with free* professional pictures taken by Elizabeth Kristen Photograph
- Popular children’s band Music for Aardvarks will perform from 12-1 p.m.
- The Sausage King Food Truck will be on hand selling “award winning” hotdogs, fries and more
- Concessions will also be available for purchase.
The event, styled by Silly Fish Parties, cost $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Children under 1 and adults enter free.
Sponsors include: Coucilwoman Dina DeGiorgio and Dreamnastics. Supporters include: Gratitude to Bliss, Danceworks, Attelia Baby, Jodi’s Gifts and Beauty Fluff.
