People Of Port Washington: Toscanini Owner Treats 13 Kids To Meal
POPW: The owner of Toscanini Ristorante Italiano, "Uncle Freddy," treated a birthday boy and 12 friends to a meal and cake on the house.

PORT WASHINGTON, NY–People of Port Washington is a series that features the good deeds of samaritans in the area.
This story comes from Port Washington resident Cherie Khan, who writes about a good deed done by "Uncle Freddy," the owner of Toscanini Ristorante Italiano, an Italian restaurant located at 179 Main St. in Port Washington.
"My son was walking with 12 of his friends on Main Street one late evening, and Uncle Freddy, the owner from Toscanini, was standing out. One of his friends told Uncle Freddy it was my son's birthday so the whole group of teens was invited in for a meal on the house with a special cake for my son afterwards! So of course that’s one of our favorites for Italian."
