Port Scores High at Model UN Conference
Schreiber's Model UN Team Takes Home Eight Awards at Conference Hosted by POB

Port Washington, N.Y. —The Model United Nations (UN) team at Paul D. Schreiber High School in Port Washington secured top honors at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Model UN Conference on December 14, 2019. Schreiber’s students met with several neighboring high schools to discuss current global issues in a real-world context.
“Congratulations to our Model UN students who competed at the POB Model UN Conference this past weekend,” said Dr. Michael Hynes, superintendent of Port Washington Union Free School District. “Model UN encourages our students to become global citizens and hone their public speaking skills. We are so proud of the hard work and dedication each one of our students and club advisors puts into each conference. Keep up the great work.”
