Port Washington Business Beautifies Exterior With $5K BID Grant
The Blue Moon Project used the grant to purchase an outdoor sign, new front doors and custom design work.

A Port Washington business received a $5,000 grant from the Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District to beautify the outside of their building.
The grant was awarded to the Blue Moon Project, located at 194 Main Street.
“The grant money awarded to the Blue Moon Project was used for their beautiful sign, purchase of new front doors, added custom design work to the doors and paid for a portion of the installation of the doors,” Helen Leib, co-owner of Blue Moon Project said in a press release.

The Facade Rehabilitation Grant Program looks to help property owners and businesses within the district rehab their exterior building facades. The grant is awarded on a first come, first serve basis with a maximum participation by the BID of $5,000.
Mariann Dailmonte, executive director of the BID, says her organization is very thankful that the Blue Moon Project owners, Leib and Michele Arnold, beautified the facade of their business for all residents to enjoy.
