Port Washington Special Needs Soccer Kicks Off Spring 2016 Season!
The popular PW New York Special Needs Soccer Spring 2016 season has started - Players can join in the fun at any time!

The Port Washington Special Needs Soccer Spring 2016 season kicked off on May 1st despite some dreary weather. The popular Long Island “Soccer For All” program is for challenged children aged 5-13 years old who are looking for a non-competitive, fun soccer experience. This unique program encourages every child to improve their skills in a lively and rewarding way. The program takes place on Sunday afternoons starting at 1:00pm and runs through June.
The program is open to all children from Port Washington and the surrounding areas and utilizes the national special needs soccer curriculum used by organizations around the country. Port Washington Soccer’s program is based on the national Special Needs Soccer philosophy “Participation Not Competition,” allowing children with a variety of special needs to have a truly memorable experience. There is a rolling registration process, so players can join the program at any time.
If you’re interested in having your child take part in Port’s special needs soccer program, but unsure of whether their physical / mental capabilities will allow them to participate, you can contact the organizers at 516.399.0570 or info@portwashingtonsoccer.com.
