Port Washington Students Earn All State Honors
Schreiber High School students were selected to represent the district in the New York State School Music Association Winter Conference.

Several Paul D. Schreiber High School students have been selected as All-State musicians and will represent the Port Washington School District’s music department at this year’s New York State School Music Association Winter Conference.
The conference, which will be held in Rochester, NY, from Dec. 4-7, will feature high school student-musicians from across New York State. The district congratulates the following students who were selected based on their exceptional performances at All-State auditions:

Christopher Bendix – French Horn – Wind Ensemble
Tessa Peierls – Soprano – Mixed Chorus

Wyndham-John Stopford – Cello – Mixed Chorus
In addition, the following student was named an alternate for the conference. An “alternate” status puts students on a waiting list for participation in the conference. A final decision on his or her status is made by the organization at a later time. Congratulations to:
Gregory Stebbins – Alternate – Cello –Symphony Orchestra
The New York State School Music Association is one of the largest and most successful musical organizations in the country. The Port Washington School District and Schreiber High School administration congratulate these students on their recognitions.
