Public Comment Period for Water Quality Recommendations

The Manhasset Bay Protection Committee (Committee) invites members of the public to review and comment on the draft list of Recommendations for Manhasset Bay, which is now available for download on the Committee’s webpage at manhassetbay.net/wqip. These recommendations were developed by Nelson, Pope, and Voorhis for the revised Water Quality Improvement Plan.

Public input is crucial in developing effective strategies to protect and restore Manhasset Bay. The plan aims to address water quality issues in Manhasset Bay and its watershed, focusing on reducing pollution, enhancing water quality, and preserving the bay's natural resources.
