Reading RV Road Trips to Port Washington
Kids and families can participate in their own "pop-up" reading festival and meet some of their favorite authors and illustrators Saturday.
Kids and families can participate in their own “pop-up” reading festival and meet some of their favorite authors and illustrators when the Scholastic Summer Reading Road Trip RV visits Port Washington this weekend.
The RVs, which are visiting more than 25 cities on their nationwide summer tour, will stop by the Port Washington Public Library, located at 1 Library Drive, on Saturday from 1-4 p.m. The event is co-hosted by The Dolphin Bookshop & Cafe.

- An author visit and book signing
- A tent filled with reading activities
- Giveaway tables and a prize wheel
- Animated photo stations with Clifford the Big Red Dog® and Slappy from Goosebumps®
- “Instaframes” picture stations for kids to show-off their “reading muscles”
- Costume characters including: Clifford the Big Red Dog®
