Residents Forward Gala - Honoring Marianne Dalimonte & KISS Products
"Our Waterfront, Our Community, Our Home"

On Friday June 7th from 7-11PM local environmental non-profit Residents Forward will host their gala and largest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds from this event will go towards providing beautification, clean up initiatives aimed at preserving the health of Manhasset Bay and environmental education to the residents of Port Washington.
The gala theme "Our Waterfront, Our Community, Our Home" will honor beloved Councilwoman Mariann Dalimonte and local Port Washington company KISS Beauty Products, Inc.
Mariann Dalimonte has served on the Town of North Hempstead Board as Councilperson since January 2020 and is a 4th generation Port Washington resident. Her love of the community has been reflected in her passionate engagement with local organizations. What started as a simple decision to leave her career to focus on raising her three children grew into full-time involvement in the community. Mariann’s tireless work to improve the quality of education in Port Washington began with volunteering on numerous committees at her children’s nursery and elementary schools. She eventually rose to serve as President of the John Philip Sousa Elementary School H.S.A., President of the Carrie Palmer Middle School H.S.A., and Vice President of Communications for Paul D. Schreiber High School.

Mariann’s service evolved to also include key roles in important organizations that achieved significant successes for the community and its residents. More importantly, she built a reputation for bringing people together. As past Executive Director of the Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District, Mariann collaborated with local businesses and residents, organizing the first restaurant week, as well as other popular programs. As Director of Development for Residents for a More Beautiful Port Washington (now Residents Forward), Mariann built critical support for educational, environmental, and beautification efforts in the community. Mariann served as treasurer of the Pride in Port Committee and upon being elected used to sit on the boards of the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce, Port Washington Senior Citizens Center and as an Advisory Board Member of The Ed. Foundation. She also volunteered her time in numerous other civic efforts. Mariann was a recipient of the 2012 Port Washington Chamber of Commerce Appreciation Award, the 2017 Town of North Hempstead Woman’s Roll of Honor, and was selected as the 2018 Pride in Port Community Honoree. Mariann earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from LaRoche University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
