Sands Point Preserve Presents Holiday Tales at the Hearth

Holiday fun for the whole family including music, stories and crafts!

Join the holiday cheer at the historic Hempstead House on December 11th from 1 - 4pm, with a celebration of holiday traditions from around the world. Bach to Rock will perform festive music, Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit, and special guest readers will share favorite stories by the library’s roaring fireplace. This year, the mansion’s former billiards room will be transformed into a reading room filled with magical stories from many cultures. The summer living room will have children’s crafts, including an enormous winter mural. Hear the Wurlitzer Opus 442 Theatre Organ play. Enjoy festive refreshments. Fun for the entire family.
