Principal Richard Roder and Assistant Principal Paulette Williams delivered
poignant speeches as students sat socially distanced from one another. Each student then
received a promotion certificate and walked across a bridge where they met a cardboard
cut-out of Secondary School Principal Dr. Dean Schlanger, signifying leaving Shelter Rock
and beginning middle school.
Students were able to cheer on their classmates with pom-poms in the crowd. The
district congratulates these students and wishes them much success at Manhasset
Secondary School!
