Let’s face it– in this fast paced world it’s hard to fit in enough time at work, time with the kids, head to the gym and hang out with friends, let alone fit in enough sleep to be a fully functioning human everyday. One of the most necessary activities for your body to function is getting neglected. It’s not that we don’t want to sleep, it’s that there is literally not enough time in the day to do everything you’d like. Then you say you “wish there was more time in the day”, but when you think about it you’d be facing the same problem. There is always going to be something else you “need” to be doing.

Sometimes you’ll get 4 hours and other times you’ll sleep like a baby throughout the entirety of the night. Without adequate sleep your whole body suffers– your thoughts get foggy, you can get sick, your risk for diabetes and cancer increase and the list can go on. No matter what your schedule looks like each day it’s vital you’re fitting adequate sleep into your routine. But obviously, we know this isn’t always easy.
