Spectrum Designs & Nicholas Center Golf Outing & Night In White

Port Washington, NY, Tuesday, August 31, 2020: On Monday, September 21, 2020, Spectrum Designs Foundation and Nicholas Center will host their annual Golf Outing and Night In White Gala at Nassau Country Club in Glen Cove, NY. The Outing will offer friendly competition on the storied golf course followed by a festive Night In White tented Gala celebrating 2020 honorees, Linda and Jimmy Chen and family, and our accomplishments during this challenging year. Socially distanced and safe guidelines, per the CDC and Nassau Country Club will be in effect. Proceeds will support the mission to help individuals with Autism lead meaningful and productive lives through the world of work and in the community.

“We are planning a fantastic day of golf and an evening Gala to support our life-changing Autism initiatives at work and in the community. Support enables pre-vocational training, employment, community integration and life skills to a segment of the population facing an 80% unemployment rate. Funds raised from these two events are paramount to our success. The profound impact for the individuals with Autism whom we support, their families, neighbors and community cannot be underestimated,” offers Stella Spanakos, co-Founder Spectrum Designs Foundation and Nicholas Center.

Night in White Gala Honoree, Linda Chen shared on behalf of her family, “Our hearts are full and grateful to the entire Spectrum Designs & Nicholas Center family – the employees, the staff members, everyone that works so hard with passion and love daily. Our son now has a fulfilled life. He’s just so happy there, it is truly his second family.”
