Summer Programs For All Ages At The Art Guild
The Art Guild in Port Washington will be holding summer programs for artists of all ages. Here's what you need to know.

Art Guild: There’s a class for everyone at The Art Guild this summer. From July through September, adults can learn everything from perspective to watercolor, silkscreen media to painting with colored pencils. For kids and teens, popular week-long summer programs have some availability and be sure to Save the Date for the Fifth Annual CreARTive experience on August 10.

Children’s Summer Workshops:
The Art Guild offers four and five-day workshops for children for ages 5-12. Kids are encouraged to use their imaginations as they explore different materials, techniques and concepts including drawing, painting, collage, cut shapes, printmaking, abstract art, plein air, constructions, impressionism and more. The class will often shift between projects, in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Sibling discount & a multi-week discount applied to the final bill.

- July 29-August 2 (5-days) • 10am-3pm • $425 ($460 non-members)

Save the Date! On Saturday, August 10 from 1pm – 4pm, The Art Guild will hold their Fifth Annual CreARTive experience for children ages 5 and up and their families. This fun and free afternoon will include Djembe drum making, Japanese screen printing and perennial crowd-pleasing activities such as tie-dye, clay and printmaking. This event is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor M. Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and administered by The Huntington Arts Council.
