Volunteers Needed March 26 to Place “Yarn Arms” on Main St. Trees

Meet at Landmark parking lot at 9 a.m. to hang crocheted "yarn arms" on 50 trees in honor of Earth Month

Volunteers are needed for “Yarn Arms Around Port,” a community-wide public art and educational project that is decorating 50 trees on Port's Main Street with "yarn arms" in honor of Earth Month in April. Yarns arms are crocheted arms that will literally hug the trees, and which have been created by more than 60 local fiber artists.

Meet in the parking lot of Landmark on Main Street, 232 Main Street, at 9 a.m. Wear sturdy, comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
