Winter Choral Concert Set for Sunday at Sands Point Preserve
Joyous music at historic Hempstead House on the Guggenheim Estate, where membership supports the site's buildings and grounds.

Five choirs will perform an afternoon of liturgical songs for an audience of all ages in a joyous two-hour concert at Hempstead House on Sunday, Jan.10 at Sands Point Preserve.
This concert features a musical celebration by choruses from Community Synagogue, Lutheran Church of Our Savior of Port Washington, Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of New York’s Nassau Symphonic Choir, St. Stephens of Port Washington, and United Methodist Church of Port Washington.
These local choirs will perform holiday music with piano, complemented by the acoustics of Hempstead House.

Light refreshments will be served. Admission is free for members of Friends of the Sands Point Preserve, or $10 per car for non-members.

Friends of the Sands Point Preserve is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to protect and preserve the 216-acre waterfront grounds and historic mansions, and to provide a range of cultural arts events and educational programs for families and schools in the Phil Dejana Learning Center.
