2 Manhole Fires Erupt In Crown Heights: FDNY
There were two manhole fires on Kingston Avenue near President Street on Wednesday afternoon, FDNY officials said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Two manhole fires erupted on a Crown Heights street Wednesday afternoon, according to FDNY officials.
The fires broke out from two different manholes near 333 Kingston Ave., near President Street, just after 12 p.m., according to alerts from the FDNY.
Firefighters got the flames under control about an hour later, though crews were still on the street around 1:20 p.m., according to the department.
