Big East Men's Basketball Tournament

The Big East Men's Basketball tournament celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, will once again be played in the world's most famous arena, Madison Square Garden, from Wednesday, March 12 through Saturday, March 15.

TIME:        Dates and games times (local, EST):
                Round 1: Wed., 3/12 - Tip Times: 7 & 9:30 p.m.
                Quarterfinals: Thurs., 3/13 - Tip Times: Noon & 
                2:30 p.m.
                Semifinals: Fri., 3/14 - Tip Times: 7 & 9:30 p.m.
                Championship: Sat., 3/15 - Tip Time: 8:30 p.m.

WHO:        All 10 teams --- Butler, Creighton, DePaul, 
                Georgetown, Marquete, Providence, St.John's, 
                Seton Hall, Xavier, and Villanova --- will compete in 
                the annual postseason tournament with the Big 
                East's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament on the
                line.
