CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — There's a too-long list of names chanted by protesters against police violence across New York City and the nation.

Eric Garner, a black man who died at the hands of police in Staten Island, is on it. George Floyd, whose recent death sparked the nationwide wave of protests, is too.

Then there's Breonna Taylor — a black Louisville EMT killed by police in March in her home.

Her name will echoed across Crown Heights and Brooklyn in a Wednesday protest that began at Eastern Parkway and Bedford Avenue, according to posts spreading online.

"This protest is to bring awareness to the senseless killing of Breonna Taylor by the Louisville Metro Police Department and call for the termination of the three officers who acted in (negligence) that (led) to the murder of this young woman in her home," an online flyer states.
