CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Three men beat up and robbed a delivery worker over spilled coffee in Crown Heights last week, police said.

The 27-year-old delivery worker was making a delivery on his bike near 1273 Pacific St. around 3:30 p.m. Friday when three men came up to him and said they had placed the order, police said.

But when the delivery worker handed over the food, the men complained that their coffees had been spilled.

The group and the delivery worker began arguing and soon the three men started hitting the worker in the face, police said. The three ended up taking the worker's e-bike before running away, police said.

The delivery worker was brought to the hospital with bruising and lacerations on his face, police said. He has since been treated and released.

Police said one of the three men had brown eyes, dark hair and was last seen wearing blue jean shorts, a royal blue t-shirt and black sneakers.

The second man had short dark hair, brown eyes, a full beard and was last seen wearing light colored shorts, a black t-shirt, a backpack and multi-colored sneakers.

The third man had brown eyes, a goatee, dark hair and was last seen wearing eye glasses, black sweatpants, black shorts, a black t-shirt and black sneakers.
