Brooklyn Man Hit By Truck Dies Weeks After Crash, Cops Say
A pick-up truck fatally struck a 74-year-old man in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens on Dec. 10, according to police.
PROSPECT-LEFFERTS GARDENS, BROOKLYN -- A 74-year-old man who was hit in the street by a pick-up truck died from his injuries on Friday, police said.
Ebenezer Edwards died more than two weeks after a 2017 Dodge Ram struck him on Flatbush Avenue near Beekman Place at about 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 10, said police.
Emergency responders found Edwards awake, but with serious head injuries, and rushed him to Kings County Hospital where he later died, police said.

The 44-year-old pick-up truck driver remained at the crash site and was not charged with a crime, police said.
Police will continue to investigate the collision.
