My music reflects the experiences in life I've had this far as well as my quest for the fundamental truth in this world. I have been writing and playing out as much as possible, meeting great people along the way. I hope listening to my music will make you want to think, explore yourself and everything around you.

10pm- Damian Quinones
Genre: Rock and Roll
For fans of: Funkadelic, WAR, Os Mutantes, Bood, Sweat, and Tears, Willie Colon, Neil Young & Crazy Horse

Akin to a mix tape made from his uncle's old vinyl collection, Damian Quiñones is sonically funky, expansive and colorful. Quiñones songwriting is a heady stew of 60's rock and roll, nuyorican funk, with a nice helping of tropicalia, and Afro-Caribbean sounds to boot. For this performance, Quiñones will be performing solo on acoustic guitar and electric piano.

"Damian Quiñones y Su Conjunto’s new album Gumball Ma-Jumbo - streaming in its entirety online - is a masterpiece of tunesmithing, an intricate mix of oldschool late 60s style psychedelic soul, rock and pop spiced with salsa, luscious horn charts, bubbling keys and nasty guitars."-Lucid Culture

“Elements of Steve Earle and Ryan Adams are easy to hear in the songs of Schroeder as the guy bares his soul on just about every verse. Schroeder's EP Songs for a Bluebird is a nice slice of poignant Americana just waiting to be checked out.”- Darryl Smyers - The Dallas Observer DC9 Blog
