Cops Search For Man Connected To Fatal Crown Heights Shooting
The fatal drive-by shooting was related to an earlier incident on President Street, which hurt at least four people, cops said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Cops have released photos of a man they believe is connected to a fatal drive-by shooting on a Crown Heights street corner last week, which followed another violent shooting on President Street.
Kishawn Cameron, 30, was driving near Classon Avenue and Lincoln Place on Wednesday, July 15, when someone in a white Jeep Wrangler pulled up next to his Toyota and opened fire, police said. Cameron was shot in the torso and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Cops said the drive-by was related to a shooting from earlier that day on President Street, where at least four people were hurt.

The man they are searching for was seen at the 1000 President St. building just before the drive-by that killed Cameron and again earlier that night getting out of a Jeep Wrangler, police said. He has also been seen playing dice in front of the President Street building, cops said.
Police said the man is approximately 20 to 30 years old with a medium build and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, white du-rag, blue jeans and white sneakers.

The man is being described as a "person of interest" in the fatal drive-by shooting. Police did not say whether they believe he was also involved in the shooting on President Street.
In that incident, cops were called shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday and found a 25-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man shot in the buttocks, a 19-year-old man shot in the back and a 35-year-old man shot in the arm. All four were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Cameron and another victim, a 52-year-old woman shot in the leg, showed up to the hospital later, police said. The woman is in stable condition.
Cameron's family told the Daily News that Cameron, a worker at Maimonides Medical Center, was in the "wrong place at the wrong time" when he was killed on the Crown Heights street corner. He had been driving to a Crown Heights liquor store in a new car he’d just bought with his hard-earned savings with two passengers when the shooting broke out, the News said.
The incidents come as the NYPD and city officials struggle to address an increase in shootings citywide.
