Cops Search For Men Connected To Robbery Spree In Brooklyn
The two men robbed — or tried to rob — a restaurant, hotel and two bodegas through Central Brooklyn in just two days, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — Cops are searching for two men who went on a robbery spree of Brooklyn businesses earlier this month.
The two men — sometimes acting alone and sometimes together — busted into a restaurant, a hotel and two bodegas between Sept. 3 and 4 and simulated a gun to demand money, police said.
The first time, one of the men grabbed $400 from the cash register at a bodega on Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights just after midnight on Sept. 3.

Then, around 8 p.m. that night, the man did the same at a restaurant on South Portland Avenue in Fort Greene. This time, an employee confronted him and the would-be thief ran away empty-handed, police said.
Later that night, the man showed up to a hotel in Bed-Stuy with an accomplice, police said. The men barged into the Atlantic Avenue hotel around 1 a.m. on Friday and one of them simulated a gun, police said.

They took $160 from a 31-year-old male clerk at the hotel and ran away, according to police.
The same duo then went to a bodega on Kingston Avenue just before 5 a.m., police said. They were caught on surveillance video talking to the clerk, one of the men simulating a gun through the pocket of his sweatshirt, according to the video.
The clerk at the bodega refused to hand over money and the two men left, police said.
There were no injuries reported from any of the robberies and attempted robberies, according to police.
Police said the suspects are between 30 and 40 years old, about 5'9" and 160 pounds. They did not immediately answer a question for details about which of the men in the photos is accused of the first two robberies.
They released surveillance photos of the men along with a portion of the video from the fourth incident:
