Crown Heights 12-Year-Old, 14-Year-Old Go Missing: Cops

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Two kids have been reported missing in the last week in Crown Heights just blocks apart, according to police.

Police first put out a notice about 12-year-old Kalsie Haywood, who was last seen at her home on Prospect Place around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15. She was reported missing on Saturday, Sept. 19, police said.

Police said Haywood stands 5'8" tall, weighs 110 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing all black clothing.

Just a day later, police put out another notice about Miguel Rodriguez, a 14-year-old who was last seen Thursday, Sept. 17.

Rodriguez was last seen at his home on Eastern Parkway and stands 5’ 4” tall and weighs 115 pounds. He was last seen wearing all dark clothing.

The notices were sent separately and do not appear to be related.

Update: Miguel Rodriguez was found safe, police said on Tuesday.
