Drumalong Singalong with Ivan Katz

Ivan 
has become a Park Slope favorite with children for the past three years at 
Perch Café.   His Drum based 
Singalong is all about getting the kids moving to rhythms from around the world 
with an emphasis on one of Ivan’s favorite sounds:Music from the 
Caribbean.   Kids will also 
get to sing many classics, remixed to cool rhythms!    Studies show that children who can keep a steady 
beat consistently score higher in reading and math,  so the earlier a child discovers and develops their sense of 
rhythm, the better.   Children 
are encouraged to Sing, Dance, and Play percussion, and most importantly have a 
great time!   Join Us every Tuesday
