Duo Accused Of Setting School Buses On Fire In Brooklyn: Cops
The pair were charged with arson after five school buses were set on fire this month in East Flatbush, police said.
BROOKLYN, NY — Two teenagers are facing arson charges after five school buses were set on fire this month in East Flatbush, police said.
Czhine Samuel and Shamell Jervey, both 18, were arrested just two days after police put out a release about the fires. They were both charged with third-degree arson, police said.
The arrests come after five school buses were set on fire in East Flatbush in the last few weeks.

The duo first set two buses on fire on Nov. 1, lighting one that was sitting on the corner of Albany Avenue and Farragut Road before heading to another bus on Avenue D just 40 minutes later, according to police.
Then, a few weeks later, the pair lit up two school buses on East 49th Street and East 45th Street, police said.

The fifth school bus was set on fire on Nov. 19 while it sat on Avenue D, police said.
Nobody was injured in any of the five incidents.
Samuel and Jervey lived together on Schenectady Avenue, records show.
