The Final Gotham Holler Night
Gotham Holler is really about one thing: shining a spotlight on local country music in New York City. We know there’s a thriving community of country music artists here. And we know there are NYC citizens who love country music. This is our attempt to introduce the two.

9pm- The Haggard Kings
Genre: Country, Originals/Covers
Our sound is upbeat country swing as in New Riders, Merle Haggard, or Johnny Cash. Our Originals have a country/Blues influence and can have a jazz swing feel as well.
10pm- Lonesome Prairie Dogs
Genre: Country/ Rockabilly
For fans of: Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Waylon Jennings, The Cramps
Hailing for the most part from Jersey, The Lonesome Prairie Dogs play lean, no nonsense, garagey honky-tonk and rockabilly for denizens of the current century who liked the last one better. The LPDs play lots of your Sun favorites, stripped down honky-tonk classics and originals in the same vein. They’ve opened for Junior Brown, did a gig at a prison upstate and even played in Nashville that one time. For ten years running, The LPDs have hosted the annual New years day Hank-O-Rama, a celebration of the music of Hank Williams on the anniversary of his death.
“Even if they weren’t a great band, this trio would still get the award for Best Dressed of the evening. Luckily, they’re kickass musicians as well,”- brooklyncountry.com

Like a dusty old jukebox buried in the back of your odd uncle’s garage, The Crevulators take listeners on a listening trip through the great American soundscape. With influences ranging from classic country, rockabilly, rockn’roll, blues, jazz, garage-psych & even tejano, The Crevs dish up a mélange of everything that is American music.
