Video shows Purcell continuing down Lefferts Avenue, kicking a garbage bag on his way and occasionally holding the gun to his head as he wanders down the street.
Just minutes later, he lunges at a car parked on the street, where a 55-year-old woman was sitting inside, yelling at the woman and waving his gun in front of her window, according to police and video. Purcell then hits the handgun against the car's side view mirror before continuing down the street.
