Studying guitar and piano for over sixteen years in various styles, he brings a wide variety of influences including John Mayer, Bon Iver, Joni Mitchell, and Radiohead into his own blend of pop/rock music.  Playing all over the city from Webster Hall, Sullivan Hall, The Bitter End and a frequent player at Arlene’s Grocery, Wise had a weekly Saturday night residency at Toshi's Living Room at the Flatiron Hotel on 26th and Broadway this past year. As both an instrumentalist and songwriter, Wise is starting to make his name known.  Last year he opened for one of America’s most iconic bands, The Eagles, at a sold out Beacon Theatre on November 15th, an event featured in national news by the Associated Press, the New York Times, and the Washington Post.  Wise released his debut EP Don’t Walk Away on October 20th of last year and spent the summer putting together his full-length debut entitled When Day Breaks, out this past November.  Wise held his album release party at a packed Bitter End, and is getting his name out there one show at a time!
