Homophobic Attacker Throws Punch Near Prospect Park, Cops Say

PROSPECT-LEFFERTS GARDENS, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for the homophobic attacker who punched a man near Prospect Park and shouted, "F--- you f-----, I'm going to f--- you up."

A 24-year-old man was walking on Lincoln Road between Ocean and Flatbush avenues on April 4 at about 1:25 p.m. when his attacker threatened him, police said.

The man then suddenly punched him in the left arm and ran away toward Lincoln Avenue, said police.

Police released photos Tuesday night of a suspect, whom they describe as a man in his late 20s last seen wearing glasses, a black sweatshirt with "Rebel" written across the front and black Adidas track pants.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police.
