She is known for her candor as a songwriter, a deeply soulful sound, and sweet melodies you can't forget. Ionie was born and raised in San Francisco by a jazz-loving father and dancing mother, running everything from Diana Krall to The Buena Vista Social Club through her veins and vocal cords. Ionie's debut release, The Hot October EP, is an infectious prelude to her upcoming full-length album, to be released Fall 2014.
