JAN 31: Free Songwriting Classes For Brooklyn Kids

Free Spirits Music teaches kids how to be honest, powerful singer/songwriters. Kids join bands, write original songs, learn guitar, and perform with a full band at Shapeshifter Lab in Gowanus, Brooklyn.

January 31 is Free Spirits Musics 5th Songwriting Extravaganza Day: kids 4-11 are welcome to explore pro instruments at Prospect Heights’ rehearsal space Complete Music Studios (227 St Marks Ave), write a song in 45 minutes, make your own guitar picks, and learn more about the 14 week program.

For 4-6 year olds: Mini Singer/Songwriters (11-12pm or 12-1pm)

For 7-11 year olds: Free Spirits Songwriting Workshop (1-2pm)
