John Pinamonti is known for his songwriting, instrumental prowess, and eclectic interpretation of American music. Long a stalwart of the Brooklyn roots music scene, he grew up in California, Texas and Oregon, spent years playing and touring the U.S. and Canada, and has recorded and released 5 CDs. He is currently working on his next recording, and continues to perform throughout the New York area.

9pm- Peter Wise Band

Originally hailing from suburban Massachusetts, Peter Wise (ASCAP) is a senior jazz major at NYU, an avid singer/songwriter, and actively performing musician in New York City. Studying guitar and piano for over sixteen years in various styles, he brings a wide variety of influences including John Mayer, Bon Iver, Joni Mitchell, and Radiohead into his own blend of pop/rock music. Playing all over the city from Webster Hall, Sullivan Hall, The Bitter End and a frequent player at Arlene’s Grocery, Wise had a weekly Saturday night residency at Toshi's Living Room at the Flatiron Hotel on 26th and Broadway this past year. As both an instrumentalist and songwriter, Wise is starting to make his name known. Last year he opened for one of America’s most iconic bands, The Eagles, at a sold out Beacon Theatre on November 15th, an event featured in national news by the Associated Press, the New York Times, and the Washington Post. Wise released his debut EP Don’t Walk Away on October 20th of last year and spent the summer putting together his full-length debut entitled When Day Breaks, out this past November. Wise held his album release party at a packed Bitter End, and is getting his name out there one show at a time!

NAFSI GROOVE is a Brooklyn, NY based, soul-fusion band who jams out an eclectic set of original music. The name Nafsi (nof-see), comes from the Arabic word "Nafs", which means 'self'. This simply describes our mission to fully incorporate our whole, individual selves--mind, body, soul and spirit--into the music, in order to create a captivating experience that takes us and our audiences on a journey!

Allegra is a sultry and evocative singer. She is a young jazz artist and composer with her own voice that is grounded in the jazz tradition with a nod to the progressive. Her music is catchy with modern, relatable lyrics. Her debut album of entirely original music will be released this fall and was produced by the great trumpeter John Mcneil.
