Crown Heights Man Shot In The Head, Suspect Arrested, Police Say

Julius Caesar, 31, was fatally shot in the head in Crown Heights Monday night, police said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A Brooklyn man stands accused of fatally shooting a Crown Heights man in the head Monday night, police said Thursday.

Terrell Winters, 24, allegedly shot Julius Caesar, 31, on Union Street near Utica Avenue about 5:40 p.m., police said.

Medics found Caesar lying in the street and rushed him to Kings County Hospital where he later died, said police.

Winters, of Brownsville, has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, according to police.
