9pm- Ali Carter
Genre: jazz/folk/pop

Australian singer songwriter Ali Carter began her musical journey with a love of jazz, performing around her hometown of Sydney and in London, while living there for a spell.  The ukulele then called her name, and picking up the instrument that her vaudeville comedian grandfather once played, the songs and stories began to pour out.  Ali blends the culture and sensuousness of Jazz, with the personal and lyrical sensibility of folk music, always singing about something real, and close, but allowing the magic and grace of the unknown to play its part. It's a fine line, and somehow in that space and moment, sharing that sonic soundscape, you feel at home.  After various travels around the globe including a tour through Croatia and the UK, Ali is now based in Brooklyn and has a debut album is in the works.
