Out of The Shabbox - Movement, Music & Storytelling

Join us this week for Out of the Shabbox 

For kids age 1 - 5 and parents.

All programs are free and run from 9:30-11:00am on the 4th floor!!

We have an exciting year planned focusing on the theme of Teva (Nature). In addition to the music and movement we are incorporating some of the PJ library books in the storytelling. 

For the month of September we will explore the New Year through the idea of where nature starts. We will explore the idea of planting the seed  Movement, Music & Storytelling with Julie, Jay & Shawn  

Featuring

JULIE GAYER KRIS is Artistic Director of Avodah Dance; LABA Kids Artist-in-Residence at the 14th Street Y;  and leads dance workshops  for preschoolers, teens and Jewish educators.

JAY RAPOPORT, an award-winning songwriter, pianist, singer and educator. Jay's "Ruach Rock" songs have been featured on Jewish Rock Radio, and he is a faculty member of Song Leader Boot Camp.

SHAWN SHAFNER is creator of the POOP Project, Pablo in Nickelodeon's  The Backyardigans Live!, Storahtelling Artist-in-Residence at JCC Manhattan Zabar Nursery School, and teaching artist with Arts for All.
