The Prospect Place Community Association will be holding their 5th annual school supply drive.
Here are their details:
We collect supplies and monetary donations during the summer. On the Saturday before schools open for the year, we distribute the supplies. This year that's September 7. Grade appropriate bags are made up that morning and then are handed out beginning 1:00 in the afternoon. Last year we handed out more than 200 bags. Now, with the school supply give-away coming up we are collecting right up to the day before the event. Supplies can be dropped off at The Winey Neighbor and the Way Station on Washington. Monetary donations will be taken until Thursday the 5th so we can shop on Friday the 6th. Just make e-mail contact (ppcainfo@gmail.com) and a time will be set up for you to drop off donations.
