Save The Day For Brooklyn Public Library's Comic Con
Comic book artists and writers, a cosplay contest and more will fly into the library's fifth annual Comic Con on March 14.

PROSPECT HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Faster than a speeding bullet, Brooklyn Public Library's Comic Con is back.
The library's Central Branch on March 14 will yet again take the great power and responsibility of hosting its fifth annual Comic Con.
"Children, Teens, and Adults are welcome to celebrate the universality of comics and pop-nerd culture," the library wrote on an event page.

Its origin story rests in the library's Youth Wing, which organizes the 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. event. They lassoed a rogues gallery of Brooklyn comic book writers and artists, such as Alitha Martinez, who has penciled Iron Man and other popular Marvel and DC titles.
Martinez and nine other professionals will spin a web of roundtable discussions and drawing classes.

For those who just want to suit up, the Comic Con is holding its first cosplay contest with several age categories and a final onstage event in front of a Dweck Auditorium audience.
